Understanding PFAS contamination - C.A.R.E. (06:00 PM - 07:30 PM)
On Monday, November 21, Citizens Against Ruining the Environment (CARE) welcomes Sonya Lunder and Nicole Saulsberry for a presentation and discussion on PFAS. Sonya is a Senior Toxics Policy Advisor with Sierra Club and Nicole works in the Illinois state government in Springfield. PFAS are a group of chemicals used since the 1940s that are manufactured for their oil and water-resistant properties.
