Bring unwanted household chemicals such as oil-based paint, stains and variishes, along with oil, antifreeze, old gasoline, brake fluid, pesticides, fertilizers, cleaning products and more to this one-day collection event. It is free of charge for Will County residents. Mercury and most mercury containing items are accepted. Other items include: pool chemicals, recharagable batteries, lead-acid batteries, compact fluorescent lights, aerosol products & lawn chemicals. Other recycling options!

All types of electronics will be accepted (except appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers) and documents (up to 10 boxes per resident) will be shredded at Hadley Middle School. This event is sponsored by the Villlage of Homer Glen.

The Possibility Place raises native trees and shrubs using seeds of local trees. They have not used insecticides in the last 15 or more years. Come to the presentation to learn what to grow, how to grow and when to grow trees and shrubs.
