Green Apple Day of Service at Tibbott School

Starting at 10am Will County offers Electronic and Textile Recycling in the southeast parking lot. A list of items accepted FREE of charge can be found on www.willcountygreen.com under the Green Guide tab. At Noon, the school opens an environmental fair, showing off their edible garden, rain barrels and offering a variety of information at exhibitor booths. Plan to attend and bring a friend or the family!
The Tibbott School in Bolingbrook is participating in the USGBC-Illinois Chapter Green Day of Service. Last year they installed rain barrels and built an edible garden. This year they are showing these off and expanding the community effort with a recycling drop-off and environmental fair. The community is invited to participate by recycling nearly any electronic device through Vintage Tech and any textile item (clothes, shoes, blankets, curtains, etc) through USAgain. The recycling event runs from 10am to 2pm.

Lights For Learning
Goodwill
Hidden Oaks Nature Preserve
Will County's Resource Recovery and Energy Division
The Forest Preserve of Will County
the Girl Scouts
Nicor
Gerald Nissan of Naperville's all electric car, the LEAF
Lewis University's Recycle Relay and much more.
See the garden that is already partially harvested and being used for the children's lunches! Learn valuable money saving ideas, great environmental practices and get a few give-aways. Its fun for everyone!
The Recycling runs 10am-2pm and the Environmental Fair runs 12 Noon - 2pm
