Holiday lights that are no longer working may be dropped off for recycling at three County locations from December 1, 2023 through January 31, 2024.Please be aware that we are accepting string lights ONLY. No stand alone LEDs, CFLs, or other fluorescent lights.
The locations this year are:
The Will County Office Building, 302 N Chicago Street, Joliet 8:30am-4:30pm weekdays
The Will County Land Use Department, 58 E. Clinton St, Joliet 8:30am-4;30pm weekdays
The Will County Sunny Hill Nursing Home, 401 Doris Ave, Joliet, 8:30am-8:30pm every day
String lights can be recycled year round at all the electronic drop-off sites throughout Will County. For a full list with hours of operation, please click here
