Document Destruction Event in Monee 2021

Will County is providing a Document Destruction event on Saturday, July 31 in the parking lot of St. Boniface Church as part of the kickoff of a week long community action series of Love Monee events. Residents are asked to bring confidential papers only from 9am to 11am for on-site shredding. Residential materials only, no businesses. PLEASE pack items in your truck and stay in your vehicle.
Due to COVID, no viewing of the shredding taking place inside the truck will be possible this year.
This event is being done in coordination with Love Monee 2021, a week long community outreach sponsored by the Monee Alliance of Churches and Provision Lab, a charitable non-profit. For help, to volunteer or for more information please go to actionlove.org or call 708-587-0033
Bring personal documents, old check stubs, bank statements, old files, IRS tax forms, and other miscellaneous paper documents for destruction. Documents will be shredded on site. There is a limit of 3 banker boxes per vehicle.
Due to COVID-19, please observe appropriate safety precautions.
*Do not bring newspaper, school assignments, metal items, corrosives, hazardous waste, food waste, wet documents.
All materials shall be shredded on-site and taken for recycling until 11am or the truck fills, whichever occurs first.
