Will County and Lewis University have partnered to offer the fourth annual Will County collection of pumpkins for recycling. From 9am to Noon on Saturday, Nov. 4, students, parents, and residents are encouraged to pitch their pumpkins and gourds! Staff from the County will be joined by the Farm Bureau and Unv of IL Ext office to measure distance and offer prizes! Physics students will be offering a catapult option to add some thrills.
Document Destruction will also be offered.

Collection of nearly all types of household chemicals, hazardous materials and liquids in the parking lots of the Families of Faith Church, located at 24466 W. Eames St/Route 6.

Holiday lights that are no longer working may be dropped off for recycling at three County locations from December 1, 2017 through January 31, 2018. The County Office Building lobby, at 302 N. Chicago Street in Joliet; the Land Use Department lobby at 58 E. Clinton Street in Joliet and at the Sunny Hill Nursing Home lobby at 401 Doris Avenue in Joliet. Please be aware that we are accepting string lights ONLY. No CFLs or other fluorescent lights.
