POSTPONED: Illinois EPA Household Hazardous Waste & Motor Oil Collection Event in Tinley Park

This collection event has been POSTPONED! A new date will be determined shortly.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the IEPA and Orland Park Township Highway Department regret to announce that the planned one-day Household Hazardous Waste Event, scheduled for August 13th at Victor J. Andrew High School, has been postponed. The contractors for the IL EPA had a facility fire and the incinerator is inoperable at this time.
Our office looks forward to working with the IL EPA and the Orland Park Township Highway Department on hosting a future Household Hazardous Waste
The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, in partnership with the Orland Township Highway Department, will be hosting a one-day residential household hazardous waste collection event. This event is free to all Illinois residents.
The First Annual Southside Event will take place on Saturday, August 13 at Victor J. Andrew High School, 9001 W. 171st Street, Tinley Park, IL. from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration is required.
