Meet Rory the Worm with a presentation, book reading and activities for kids at Crosswind Farms in Manhattan on Sat, May 18 to help everyone learn to compost.
Bring the kids or just pop in yourself for a fun, interactive presentation and reading of Rory the Worm. This light and fun hearted coloring book was created by Erin Noon, the County Environmental Educator to teach children about the wonderful composting work worms do for the Earth. Of course the information covers both backyard composting and inside vermi-composting with a craft table for the kids.
