Will County Book Reuse and Recycling Event with Document Destruction

Residents are invited to bring books and magazines to share or recycle to this three day event at Pilcher Park in Joliet. Confidential documents are also welcomed for certified destruction. This event is FREE of charge.
Full Description: For over a decade, Will County has offered an annual Book Collection Event where people may bring unwanted soft and hard cover books to be placed on tables for others to take. Everyone is welcome to take books and any materials remaining shall be recycled.
For the past few years, this event has expanded to include document destruction services. Residents are invited to bring sensitive paperwork and deposit it in a sealed container to be shredded by a company that certified the destruction of the material and ensures its recycling.
Share with friends and relatives, there is certain to be something for everyone at the Annual Book Reuse and Recycling Event. All of these services are provided FREE of charge by the Will County Land Use Department - Resource Recovery and Energy Division.
