Virtually join this non-profit organization's EcoChalllenge. The Earth Month Ecochallenge, runs from April 1st to April 30th. It is a 30-day program focused on environmental and social engagement.

Many items we place in the garbage could be repaired and reused. Joliet Junior College is offering a chance for residents to bring items to a FREE event to explore repair options on Saturday, April 12 at their Romeoville Campus.

The Frankfort Park District will be offering an Earth Celebration from Noon to 2pm. This is a FREE event and open to families featuring kid friendly activities.

Textile Collection at the County Office Building PARKING LOT Monday through Friday during normal business hours. This event will accept clean clothing, blankets, tablecloths, linens, drapes, towels, shoes, and more. Bring items for reuse and recycling. Earth Hour calls on businesses, government and individuals to turn out their lights for one hour. If possible turn as many electrical devices as possible for one hour. It is a way to increase consciousness of the amount energy we use and find ways to reduce it.

Collection of nearly all types of electronics and household chemicals, hazardous materials and liquids. Wood, Scrap Metal, Foam and Donations of clothing, books, toys, cookware. There is a limit of 2 TVs per vehicle, 15 gallons of paint, and ID required. We offer service to all Will County residents and all residents of any communities partially within Will County. Volunteers needed.
